Arica Martinez-

For Arica, Colorado Staging + Design + Media started long before there was a warehouse, a team, or thousands of homes staged.

A Loveland, Colorado native, Arica and her husband, Brian, chose early in their marriage to put down roots in the community they loved and raise their family there. While building and decorating their first home on a tight budget, Arica began refinishing secondhand furniture and transforming overlooked pieces into something beautiful. What started as a creative way to furnish her own home quickly grew into a business, with clients across Colorado seeking out her work.

That creativity—and Arica’s natural eye for design—eventually caught the attention of a local real estate professional who asked her to stage his listings. She said yes, and what began as an opportunity quickly became a passion.

In 2016, Arica founded Colorado Staging + Design. Since then, the company has grown from a small local staging business into one of Northern Colorado’s leading real estate marketing companies, serving real estate agents, homeowners, builders, investors, and developers throughout the region.

Arica has built her company around a simple belief: a home should be marketed, not just listed.

Her approach to staging combines thoughtful design with an understanding of how buyers experience a home. Every space is intentionally styled to photograph beautifully, create an emotional connection, and help buyers envision themselves living there.

In 2023, Arica and Brian expanded that vision even further. Brian brought more than 20 years of professional video production experience to the company, and together they launched the media division of what is now Colorado Staging + Design + Media—bringing staging, professional photography, video, drone, and real estate marketing together under one roof.

Today, Arica leads a talented team of staging, design, operations, and media professionals serving Northern Colorado and beyond. Under her leadership, CSDM has staged thousands of properties, expanded into luxury, occupied, vacant, model and builder staging, and become a trusted marketing partner for real estate professionals throughout the region.

Arica has been recognized among the Top 100 Most Influential People in Real Estate Staging by the Real Estate Staging Association and as a Top 10 Luxury Occupied Stager in the United States. Colorado Staging + Design + Media has also been recognized as the #1 Staging Company in Northern Colorado.

Despite the growth and accolades, Arica remains deeply connected to the community where it all began. She is passionate about supporting local businesses, developing her team, and continuing to raise the standard for how homes are presented and marketed.

For Arica, staging has never simply been about making a home look beautiful. It’s about creating an experience, telling the story of a property, and giving every home the opportunity to make an unforgettable first impression.

  • Brian Martinez

    DIRECTOR OF MARKETING + OWNER

    Meet Brian Martinez, a native of Colorado with over two decades of experience in the marketing industry. Brian is a highly skilled photo and video producer, having honed his craft for just as long. He is a dedicated father of two boys and a loving husband to his wife, Arica. In addition to his expertise in marketing, Brian is also a creative individual, always looking for innovative and unique ways to approach his work. When he is not behind the camera, Brian loves spending time in the beautiful Colorado mountains, indulging in his favorite outdoor activities such as mountain biking and snow skiing. With his extensive experience, creative mind, and passion for his craft, Brian is a true asset to any project or endeavor he undertakes.

  • Debbie Mares

    TEAM MOM + Design Assistant

    Debbie Mares is a Colorado native and lives in Loveland. She has been married for 38 years to her husband Juan and has two daughters and one son. One of her daughters, Arica, is the owner of Colorado Staging and Design. She is also a very proud grandmother of four amazing and beautiful grandchildren. After working at her church for 25 years, Debbie chose to retire when Arica asked her to join the Colorado Staging + Design team. She was excited to start a new life working with her daughter! Debbie says, "My very favorite part of working with Colorado Staging + Design is working side by side with my daughter and her hard-working team. That makes me happy. I look forward to every day and what new challenges they bring.”

  • Samantha Wells

    VP OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT + CLIENT PARTNERSHIPS + HOME PREPARATION ADVISOR

    In 2019, Samantha became a valuable member of the Colorado Staging + Design team, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience in Real Estate, Human Resources, and event planning. She relocated to Northern Colorado in 2014, and has two children and a beloved dog who keep her occupied outside of work. Samantha obtained her Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of New Mexico. Her passion for meeting with sellers and assisting them in preparing their listing for the market is evident, and she takes great pride in her work.

  • Tina Palmer

    FIELD LOGISTICS LEAD + STAGER

    Colorful Colorado native, and Loveland High School graduate! Tina stepped into motherhood early in life and now take on the role of mom to 3 amazing kids—Zylla, Maximus, and Creed. She spent many years behind the chair in salons, and behind the desk in an office. Now working with CSD, Tina is on her feet moving around and couldn’t be happier working with Arica and the team. Tina enjoy turning up the music, making messes and cleaning up!

  • Katelyn Anderson

    FIELD MANAGER + LEAD STAGER

    Katelyn Anderson is a Colorado native who is adventurous and likes using her creativity where ever she can. She earned her degree in interior design from the Interior Design Institute based in California in 2021. Katelyn began her career in Florida after earning her degree as a co-partner in a home improvement business where she resided for three years. In 2023 she moved back to Colorado and was given the opportunity to work for Colorado Staging and Design. While being with the company, Katelyn has been able to grow her design skills while enjoying the atmosphere and people she works with. She also started her own business in permanent jewelry once she moved back to Colorado and is continuing to expand it with pop up events. Outside of work, she loves to travel and experience new things with the people she loves.
